Services for hames and trades
One wee bathroom rip-out or a ten-plot building site — Braedale has a service to suit. Delivered on time, priced straight, cleared away without a fuss.
Six ways we shift your stuff
Every job below comes with the same promise: straight prices, drivers who ring ahead, and 92% of what we collect recycled at our own yard.
Domestic skip hire
Garden tidies, kitchen refits, full clear-oots. Skips from 4 to 12 yards dropped on your drive, every price including 14 days' hire.
Trade & site skips
Priority swap-overs the same day you ring, weekly consolidated invoicing, and one number for every site. Nae chasing, nae downtime.
RoRo containers
Roll-on roll-off containers from 20 to 40 yards for demolition, big commercial strips and serious muck-shifts. Priced on application.
Wait & load
No room for a skip? Our driver waits kerbside for 20 minutes while you load, then the whole lot leaves with the lorry. Nae permit needed.
Licensed house clearances
Full or part clearances by our own crew — licensed waste carriers, respectful in the hoose, and everything receipted for solicitors and landlords.
Our transfer station
Every load is hand-sorted at our Stirling transfer station. 92% gets recycled, and clean aggregates are crushed and resold to local builders.
What can go in the skip?
Most things, honestly. But a few items need special handling by law — here's the short version.
Chuck it in
All of this goes straight in, nae bother:
- Household junk & general waste
- Furniture
- Wood & metal
- Rubble, soil & hardcore
- Garden waste
- Carpets
Keep it oot
These need separate, licensed disposal:
- Asbestos
- Fridges & freezers
- Tyres
- Paint & liquids
- Gas bottles
- Batteries & electricals
- Plasterboard mixed with general waste — we take it separately, just ask
A banned item found in the skip means a surcharge — so if you're no' sure, ring first and we'll advise. Nae judgement.
Permits, sorted
A skip on a public road needs a council permit. Ours to sort, not yours — typically £35, added to your quote up front so there are nae surprises.
Tell us the skip's going on the road when you order. That's your bit done — kettle on.
We lodge the permit application with the council and chase it along, so you never touch a form.
Delivered with lights and cones fitted — fully legal, fully visible, and the neighbours stay friendly.
Wait & load: 20 minutes and it's gone
Tight terrace street? Double yellows? Shared close with no drive? Wait & load skips the skip-sitting-there part entirely. The lorry parks kerbside, you load for up to 20 minutes — pile ready at the kerb makes it easy — and the whole lot leaves when the driver does.
- No council permit needed — the lorry never leaves the road unattended
- Nothing parked outside your window for a fortnight
- Our driver lends a hand with the awkward bits
Pick a day that suits
Our live scheduler shows real slots straight from the yard diary — choose delivery and collection days and we'll confirm by text.
Service questions, answered
Do you deliver at weekends?
Saturdays, aye — the yard runs 7am–7pm Monday to Saturday, and Saturday morning is our busiest slot, so book a day or two ahead if you can. Sundays the lorries get a lie-in, but you can still book online or leave a message and we'll ring back first thing Monday.
Can you exchange my skip mid-job?
Nae bother. A swap-over lifts the full skip and drops a fresh one in the same visit, so you're never without a bin. Ring by noon and we'll usually swap it the same day. Trade customers can put swap-overs on a standing weekly schedule.
Do you offer trade accounts?
Aye — 30-day terms, one consolidated weekly invoice across all your sites, priority swap-overs and a direct line to the yard. Ring 01786 555 013 and ask for the trade desk, or email hires@braedaleskips.co.uk and we'll set you up the same day.
Will you take a single bulky item?
We will. Sofas, wardrobes, washing machines — a quick wait & load visit handles one-off items, or we'll add yours to a clearance round already passing your way, which often works out cheaper than a council special uplift. Ring with the item and your postcode for a price on the spot.
